TeacherEase Parent Portal Update
We’ve updated the “Grades” page on the parent portal. The new look is more intuitive with better organization of data . We’ve added various view options and added missing work. The new layout provides better information for parents and students. Check out a quick video:
We’ve also improved the page’s handing of standards-based grading with additional options that default to the most useful view depending on the situation.
Changes at a glance:
- Grades
- Default organization is by grading period (not by class)
- Missing work is now displayed at the bottom
- User can toggle sorting by class or by grading period
- Clicking on an overall score takes you to that class
- Clicking on a missing assignment takes you to the gradebook and displays that assignment
- Standards-based Grading Details
- Better use of arrow/caret to indicate which rows can be expanded
- New default for standards-based grading expands to show all standards (but not assignments)
- Has missing work view option, which shows all missing work
