TeacherEase Celebrates Catholic Schools Week 2013
Elmhurst, IL (January 21, 2013) – Common Goal Systems, maker of TeacherEase (www.teacherease.com), supports Catholic Schools Week (January 27-February 2, 2013) with a special offer. Catholic schools new to TeacherEase can try the web-based gradebook with parent portal for free through June 30, 2013. This offer also includes access to Curriculum and Lesson Planning, which includes the Common Core State Standards.
“Catholic schools want to provide families with the same state-of-the-art technology that’s available at public and charter schools,” says Pat Helmers, Vice President of Sales for the company. “TeacherEase is an affordable solution that makes them competitive. Also, with the recent Common Core State Standards initiative, TeacherEase has the tools to enhance student learning.”
This year’s theme, “Catholic Schools Raise the Standards,” promotes the high academic and moral standards that has traditionally been part of a Catholic education. Catholic schools are also participating in a nationwide education initiative called the Common Core Catholic Identity Initiative. TeacherEase allows teachers to seamlessly use these Catholic standards in the classroom.
TeacherEase is used by hundreds of Catholic schools nationwide. The program is also used diocesan-wide by the Diocese of Madison (WI) and the Diocese of Colorado Springs (CO). The company develops a student information system, SchoolInsight, which has NCEA reports, customizable Diocesan report cards, tuition/fees, health, and more.
